he cost for a regular 10-class session is $280. Drop-in students are welcome for Corrections classes only, and need instructor permission; Drop-in fee is $35.00 per class.
All classes may register through this site. If you will only be attending classes via Zoom, please register for the Monday evening In-Person classes in Silver Spring. In-Person students registering for the Strathmore/Bethesda location classes (Sunday) will be redirected to the CityDance site. You will then click on Register on the left side of the CityDance landing page. You can also call CityDance at 301-581-5204. Beginner Part 1 Classes
Beginner Part 1 classes introduce students to the “T’ai Chi Form,” or the choreography of 37 T’ai Chi movements and postures. In this class, students learn the 1st section (Beginner set) of the form—the first 12 of 37 movements. Each In-Person class meets once a week for one hour either on Sunday morning at Strathmore, or on Monday evening at Crossings in Silver Spring. The same content is taught on Zoom once each week for one hour on Thursday evening*. Students registered for In-Person classes on Sunday, or Monday can also attend Zoom classes on Thursday evening. All Zoom classes are recorded and available for later viewing.
**There is no separate registration for Zoom only classes. If you will only be attending Zoom classes, and will not be attending In-Person, please register for the Monday evening class in Silver Spring.

Corrections Classes (for continuing students)
Continuing students can refine and enhance their T’ai Chi practice in this class. Students should be familiar with the entire choreography of the “T’ai Chi form.” This class covers the entire form of 37 movements. Each class meets in-person once a week for one hour on Sunday morning, or on Monday evening, and online using Zoom once each week for one hour on Thursday evening for ten weeks. The same content is taught in the Sunday/Monday and Thursday classes. Students who attend the Thursday evening Zoom class can also attend their Sunday morning or Monday evening class in any given week.
The fee for Sunday Corrections classes is $280 for ten weeks. The fee for Sunday Corrections and Sword Combined is $475 for ten weeks.
